Mitsubishi Electric Demo Truck Fleet Adds Second Set of Wheels

Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Cooling & Heating Division (Mitsubishi Electric), a leading manufacturer of Zoned Comfort Solutions™ and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) cooling and heating systems, is hitting the road once again with their newest demo truck. The truck, which launched in October 2016 equipped with CITY MULTI® VRF technology, is the latest addition to the road show fleet.

Mitsubishi Electric’s demo truck fleet was introduced in late 2015, with its first commercial truck, equipped with a CITY MULTI L-Generation air source outdoor unit, several indoor unit styles and a controls panel. It traveled through Texas and Georgia as part of its initial tour, making a stop at the 2016 AHR Expo, giving attendees the chance to view the latest VRF system offerings. Other stops included New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Houston and St. Louis with a total of 75 events held and 1,359 visitors, to date.

“Our demo truck fleet has seen much success in demonstrating Mitsubishi Electric’s VRF technology and its core benefits to our customers – such as design flexibility, quiet operation and energy efficiency,” says Kevin Miskewicz, director, commercial marketing, Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Cooling & Heating Division. “We’ve found a good niche in traveling to our customers and giving them the ability to interact with the equipment on a hands-on level, where they can hear, see and feel the advantages of our systems.”

Mitsubishi Electric’s second and newest demo truck is currently making stops on the West Coast. The truck is equipped with a PURY R2-Series CITY MULTI L-Generation Outdoor Unit, a P-Series outdoor unit, four distinct indoor unit styles and a controls panel. Following in the footsteps of last year’s successful debut, the demo truck is set to make a stop at the 2017 AHR Expo, providing a tangible way for visitors to walk through and experience the full functionality and benefits of VRF technology.
