Mitsubishi Electric Reaffirms Commitment to Service at Annual Diamond Service Group Conference
Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Cooling & Heating Division (Mitsubishi Electric), a leading manufacturer of Zoned Comfort Solutions™ and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) cooling and heating systems, recently held its annual Diamond Service Group (DSG) Conference. This two-day conference, held March 21-22, 2017 at the Airport Marriott Gateway, Atlanta, is an annual meeting of technical service professionals who receive training and technical support for Mitsubishi Electric’s commercial and residential cooling and heating systems.
The DSG network of more than 180 dedicated professionals located in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean, work for distributors that sell Mitsubishi Electric cooling and heating products, serving as the local customer contact for troubleshooting and providing support for all installed Mitsubishi Electric systems.
“Once a year, DSG members have the opportunity to network with peers, professionals and Mitsubishi Electric support staff for comprehensive service training and new product updates to enhance their technical support skills for an evolving industry and customer base,” says Mark Rogers, national manager of service and program operations, Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Mitsubishi Electric presented several esteemed awards at the conference this year to recognize the profound success of DSG members and their distributorships in areas of technical case management, field service support, technical training and overall product support. The award categories are National DSG Distributor of the Year and Regional Business Unit DSG Distributor of the Year.
The National DSG Distributor of the Year award was presented to BellSimons Companies, Hartford, Connecticut, and its DSG support group. The team from the Northeast business unit, consisting of Sean Gallagher, Brian Surrette and David Collins, was recognized for its exceptional product and contractor support, as well as its skillset and service of Mitsubishi Electric’s M- and P-Series lines.
